The artist says, "I make art; other people sell it."

Please allow us the opportunity to introduce The Rotation Collection.

Our introduction to Conceptual Jewelry was during our studies at the Academy of Art in Munich.

We are interested in representing a Rotation Collection of selected work from various selected artist within the Contemporary / Conceptual Art World.

The focus at first, will be on wearable conceptual jewelry.

The Rotation Collection will change every three/four months.

The reason why we have chosen a rotation system is to give new outstanding artists a chance to become known and known artists a chance to expose more of their work to different social circles.

Each Artist will receive a portfolio file containing a CV/Resume, an Artist Statement and all their submitted work. One piece will be chosen for the collection as the presentation piece - and if a buyer/collector/gallery has interest in an individual Artist, the portfolio file will be shown.

The purpose of the selected collection is, because we feel there is a huge gap between conceptual jewelry and the public view and understanding of conceptual/contemporary jewelry.

Other forms of Art make up such a huge part of the Art world and we feel contemporary jewelry is missing out and needs more exposure. Many people that we have dealt with have a very conservative view and opinion on what jewelry should look like.

Our aim is to bridge the gap between the public understanding and appreciation of conceptual/contemporary jewelry as well as bridging the gap between conceptual/contemporary jewelry and the rest of the Art world.

By agreeing to be part of the collection after being selected, you'll agree that we will represent your selected piece/s.

We will only be the connector and available for guidance - the way your exhibition or catalogue look - depends on you.

Unfortunately we will not accept every artist applying, as it is important to us to keep a certain standard.

As your representative, we would be contacting people in Europe, UK and USA on your behalf, who could help advance your career, and gain you opportunities (through their contacts) that you might never otherwise enjoy.

As we enjoy travelling to different countries, we would personally introduce your work when asked by important people in the Contemporary Art business.

We will also present your work to contacts outside of the existing Jewelry Art Circles and will offer an awareness to the public of what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ in the contemporary / conceptual jewelry world.

By agreeing to be part of the collection the following will apply :

• Step 1 - you'll have to reply to rotationcollection@yahoo.de - stating that you are interested in submitting work.
• Step 2 - We will send you a contract that gives us permission to use photo's of your work for your file as well as the agreement, terms and conditions of the whole process.
• Step 3 - You'll have to return a signed contract as well as an email/CD with your attached photo's and art statement on.
• Step 4 - We will let you know what work is chosen for the first Rotation Collection.
• Step 5 - Each Artist will get a separate portfolio file for all their work and in case of a catalogue or exhibition the Artist will be informed, asked for approval and updated in order to be involved in the process.
• Step 6 - We will do our best to develop and nurture your career by introducing you to the right people, as our aim is to show and sell your work.

The following will also be our aim :

• Introduce you to important opportunities. (e.g. collaborations, commissions, galleries, international exhibitions, etc.)
• Sell your artwork to collectors and others whom you might not otherwise know.
• Obtain commissions and negotiate the contracts related to those commissions.
• Depending upon our agreement, We will try to get your work into galleries and/or into museum exhibitions and permanent collections, and use his or her contacts to get you press coverage.

For those who don't know Niala Orsmond, one of the project organizer - examples of her work can be seen on www.nialaorsmond02.blogspot.com

There are no guarantee that all the submitted work would be chosen for the first four months, but as the system rotates every three/four months feel free to submit up to 10 - 15 projects/works for your portfolio.

If there are any questions, please feel free to ask us.

You'll receive the contracts as soon as we have received your reply email, stating you are interested - …this also includes the artists that we have already spoken to.

…As you have nothing to loose and only to gain opportunities for your work…we looking forward to hear from you…
